Candidate's GDPR statement

We at Law Staff take your Data Protection seriously.

We wanted to let you know that we have taken the appropriate steps in ensuring that, as a business, we comply with the new legislation and are doing everything we can to protect your privacy.

We have updated our registration page for all our new Candidates, this now details what the information you supply is used for and how we use it.

A more ‘reader friendly’ version of our Privacy Policy has been added to our website, which clearly identifies how we use our client and candidate data.

What you need to know: 

  • We collect information about you to register you as an active Candidate seeking employment, or when you apply for a vacancy as advertised on our website (or a third-party website)
  • We use your information in the application process, and will only pass on your details to our clients, once you have given us approval.
  • We will NEVER submit your CV or pass on your details without prior permission from yourself.
  • We will contact you from time to time, through email, telephone or text (SMS) message with information about vacancies or training which we feel may be of interest to you, this we define as ‘marketing’

If at any time you would no longer like to use our services, or you would like to amend or remove the information we hold about you, then please contact admin@law-staff.co.uk

To clarify our position on GDPR, if Law Staff have made an introduction on behalf of you the candidate, we reserve the right to hold your details for a maximum of 24 months from the date when the introduction was made, or alternatively if we have arranged an interview on your behalf we again reserve the right to hold your details for 24 months from the date of the interview for compliance matters. Please be assured that we will never supply any of your personal details outside of the authorised companies within Law Staff Legal Recruitment and Law Staff Legal Resources Limited.
