Excellent majority hybrid working opportunity for an In-House Commercial Property Counsel in Norfolk.
This a rare opportunity for an experienced commercial property lawyer to join an established housing company in an in-house capacity in Norwich. Reporting to the commercial property manager, the successful candidate will utilise their knowledge to manage a commercial property caseload with a focus on development work. Additionally, the successful legal counsel will assist with the streamlining of processes for the team and build strong long-lasting relationships with clients and third parties

Responsibilities
- Development work including purchases of bare land
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Transfers of part
- Refinance and other commercial property projects
- Deeds of easement
- Conducting due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements
- Negotiating ancillary documents
- Managing paralegals and secretaries
- Training junior members of the team
The Candidate
- Qualified solicitors or legal executives with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Previous experience in development work is essential
- Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Possesses outstanding communication and client care skills
- Has the ability to supervise and training other staff members
- IT literate with particular expertise using Microsoft Office
- Strives for high standards in their work
- A team player with an aptitude for business development
