Highly regarded housing company in Norfolk is seeking a Litigation Legal Counsel on a full-time, hybrid working arrangement.
Based in Norwich with travel to the company’s other locations, this is an excellent opportunity for a legal executive or solicitor to utilise their housing litigation skills within a busy team. You will manage a varied caseload as well as supervising junior colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Handling a varied caseload of housing litigation matters
- Supervising members of the team
- Attending court and conducting own advocacy
- Taking witness statements
- Preparing legal documents
- Liaising with customers and external parties
- Debt recovery
- Antisocial behaviour
- Rent arrears
- Disrepair claims
The Candidate
- Qualified legal executives or solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE
- Experienced in housing and litigation
- Able to conduct own advocacy
- Flexible and able to travel to other offices
- Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office
- Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- A team player who works equally well on own initiative with minimal supervision
- An outstanding communicator both written and verbally
- Has an innovative approach to their work
- Able to explain things in clear, accessible language
