Legal 500 law firm in Central London seeks an AML and Conflicts Assistant or Analyst on a permanent basis.

This is a rare opportunity for a driven assistant or analyst with solid conflicts and AML experience to join our client’s bespoke practice in London. Providing hands-on support in all aspects of conflicts and anti-money laundering matters, the successful candidate will manage a varied workload with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a similar position within the legal framework will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out background and AML checks
  • Client and matter risk assessments
  • Identifying conflict issues
  • Reviewing AML and KYC documentation
  • Liaising with directors and COLP
  • New matter conflict searches and analysis  
  • Obtaining CDD documents
  • Maintaining the AML system and documents

The Candidate


  • A conflicts assistant or analyst with previous AML and/or compliance experience in the legal framework
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Has a solid understanding of SRA rules and regulations relating to conflicts of interest
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of Money Laundering Regulations will be essential
  • Strives for high standards in their work
