Crime Duty Solicitor required at a highly regarded, Lexcel-accredited firm in North Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with duty accreditation to join a practice with a proven background in criminal law.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a comprehensive service to Legal Aid clients
  • Attending police stations both in and outside of office hours
  • Providing advice and advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court
  • Running police station and Magistrates’ Court files

The Candidate

  • Applications are encouraged from solicitors with duty accreditation and solid experience of criminal defence matters
  • The ability to deal with cases through to the trial stage is essential
  • Ideally, you will possess exceptional client care skills
  • Access to your own transport and a driving licence are required
