One of the UK’s top-rated law firms, multi-accredited and highly respected, our client has offices in central and north London and East Anglia with an emphasis on providing bespoke legal services to its well-established client base.  The firm focuses on the provision of specialist corporate and commercial services and clients include not-for-profit organisations, property developers and entrepreneurs and HNW individuals in the UK and globally. Currently embarking on a period of expansion with a view to providing an ‘all-inclusive’ level of service for new and existing clients, the firm is also developing new areas of practice and is currently recruiting for one senior and one junior lawyer to join the property development team.

The Role
You will be working with ‘one foot in each camp’ liaising with the commercial property team and the agricultural team in regard to strategic land matters and dealing with clients in the public and private sectors. The property development team is instructed in a comprehensive range of matters which may include urban or rural regeneration projects, greenbelt issues and brownfield sites, and joint ventures, development agreements, disposal of developed units, investment sales and purchases and associated funding matters as well as technical matters relating to acquisition of rights, easements, restrictive covenants and more. 

The Candidate
Our client is looking to recruit for a senior role of about 6 years’ PQE; this will involve supervising junior colleagues and leading marketing initiatives and assisting with driving forward the firm’s plans for continued growth through a sustained policy of networking and business development.
For the junior role, the firm is looking for an ambitious solicitor or legal executive of about 2 years’ PQE looking to build on his or her previous experience in a similar role within a City or regional heavyweight firm.
The firm is looking for lawyers who are robust negotiatiors, with a creative, problem-solving approach and first class client-care skills.
