Currently embarking on a period of expansion with a view to providing an ‘all-inclusive’ level of service for new and existing clients, the firm is also developing additional areas of practice and is currently recruiting for an experienced lawyer to join the construction team.

The Role
Our client is known for excellence in advising the construction industry and deals with a wide range of matters relating to commercial, residential and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy installations. You will be advising on matters which may include procurement of consultancy services, publicly-funded projects, infrastructure and planning matters, construction contracts and development agreements. Clients include education providers, charities, and rural development projects.

The Candidate
You will be a solicitor of 3 – 5 years’ PQE, with experience gained within a Legal 500 city or regional heavyweight firm or a similarly-experienced legal executive;
With a proven track record in contentious and non-contentious construction matters;
A robust negotiator and determined advocate with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach;
A team player, comfortable liaising with colleagues across related disciplines;
Possessing excellent client care and communication skills.
