With Lexcel accreditation, the firm is renowned for the quality of their advice and has talented lawyers who have been accredited for their work in a range of legal disciplines. The practice is a strong supporter of the local community, actively organising and participating in charitable events. They are now seeking a Family Solicitor in Leeds.

The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor to join a well-established department in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Available for an immediate start, the role is suited to applicants with the Law Society’s Child or Family Panel Membership and a Legal Aid (LAA) supervisory status would be highly essential. Handling a diverse caseload under minimum supervision, you will undertaking duties to include: divorce; adoption; cohabitation disputes; ancillary relief; domestic abuse; Children Act matters; forced marriages; LAA applications and; conducting advocacy. Successful applicants will be commercially aware, possessing top class client skills and a detail-oriented approach to your work.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE with strong Family experience;
Family / Child Panel Membership and LAA Supervisory Status is essential;
Available to start on short notice;
Possess excellent client care skills and communicate in a clear manner;
Able to run own caseload under minimum supervision;
It is important that the successful Solicitor is organised and able to work towards tight deadlines.
