Full time, permanent, hybrid after probation  


A Paralegal with experience in Residential Conveyancing is sought for a highly regarded firm close to Billericay on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to partners within the department, the successful paralegal will join a busy property team, utilising your skills and expertise to handle a busy and varied workload covering a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting a senior fee earner in residential conveyancing matters as well as managing your own caseload
  • Preparation of SDLT & Land Registry forms and liaising directly with clients and other professionals
  • Dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from inception to post completion
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and updating case management systems
The Candidate

  • A paralegal with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literacy will be a pre-requisite
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • A team player who is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
  • Is personable, pro-active and detail orientated
