Job Title: Private Client Paralegal
Location: Bexleyheath, with occasional travel to Dartford and Orpington offices
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (one-hour lunch break)
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Private Client Paralegal to join our team based in Bexleyheath. The role will also require occasional travel to our Dartford and Orpington offices. The successful candidate will take on a variety of duties related to will drafting and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take instructions from clients by prior appointment at the office for straightforward Wills.
- Prepare, explain, and submit draft documents for approval promptly – ideally on the same day or within 24 hours.
- Present the firm's account promptly and secure immediate settlement.
- Refer complex trust issues, IHT advice, and other enquiries outside the scope of "Easywill" to senior members of the Private Client team.
- Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and manage their preparation and registration following signature.

Candidate Requirements:
- Pleasant and courteous manner

- Diligent and conscientious approach to work
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- PC literacy and accurate keyboard skills
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a busy Private Client department with will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney experience
- Proven track record of managing a caseload and meeting client and business expectations
- A law degree/LPC is desired but not essential
- Must be able to travel between our three offices
