Position: Head of Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £60,000+
Work Arrangement: Full-time, Office-based

About Our Client
Our client is a leading law firm known for its outstanding legal services in the commercial property sector. Their Commercial Property team prides itself on delivering top-notch legal advice and solutions to a diverse clientele. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Solicitor to head their Commercial Property team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Commercial Property team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Handle a diverse and complex caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and development projects.
- Provide strategic legal advice on all aspects of commercial property law, including landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and planning applications.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial property documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations and property searches.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the Commercial Property department.

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with 10+ years PQE
- Extensive experience in all fields of commercial property work.
- Proven track record of handling complex commercial property transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using legal practice management software and other relevant technology.
