Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Crime Solicitor to join our client's team in Epping. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a strong background in criminal law who is looking to further develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of criminal defense matters, including police station advice, Magistrates' and Crown Court representation.
- Advising clients on legal rights and responsibilities and ensuring the highest standards of service.
- Conducting advocacy in court, preparing cases for trial, and liaising with counsel when necessary.
- Representing clients in bail applications, pleas, sentencing, and appeals.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of criminal law, procedures, and regulations.
- Attending police stations for interviews under caution, often outside normal working hours, on a rota basis.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in criminal law.
- Police Station Accreditation is essential
- Proven experience in handling a criminal defence caseload.
- Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours police station rota.
