The Role
Department: Construction
PQE: NQ – 3+ years

Our client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Construction Solicitor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience running their own matters as well as assisting more senior associates and partners with cases. The role requires providing high-quality, commercial advice to a variety of clients including developers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and construction professionals.

About You
Essential Experience:
- Managing own caseload while assisting senior associates and partners.
- Delivering commercial, client-focused advice to developers and construction professionals.
- Experience in contentious construction matters, including adjudications and TCC work.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Strong academic record, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification.

Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to non-contentious construction matters.
- Business development experience.
- Presentation skills.

Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Manage their own caseload effectively.
- Conduct financial housekeeping for their work.
- Conduct client meetings in person and remotely.
- Analyze legal issues, provide advice, and manage costs and scope of work.
- Draft legal documents and letters of advice.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments.
- Work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
