THE FIRM
Lexcel accredited and with Resolution membership, our client is committed to improving the lives of residents in its local community and is regularly instructed in a wide mix of matters including all aspects of family law, landlord and tenant matters and immigration and asylum.  The firm is now recruiting for a determined and tenacious litigator to lead the public law team in various matters relating to actions against the police.

THE ROLE
The successful lawyer will have solid experience in a similar role with demonstrable supervisory experience of at least twelve months. Often representing the most vulnerable members of society, the ideal lawyer will on the one hand demonstrate outstanding courtroom advocacy skills, and on the other, the ability to explain the most complex of matters in plain English.  When applying for this vacancy, please quote reference KT20722.

THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Have at least two years’ experience in a similar litigation role;
Have excellent communication skills;
Be experienced in supervising and training staff;
Meet the LAA supervisory requirements;
Ideally, be a member of the Police Action Lawyers Group or similar organisation representing  complainant interests.
